Did you have storm or water damage this summer?

On the evening of July 27th, most of Dubuque County received record amounts of rainfall. That rain created flash flooding in many areas of the county, and along with a power outage, has many people dealing with water damage. If your home or business suffered water damage that will not be repaired by January 1st we ask that you call our office and tell us about it.

Interior water damage and the corresponding loss of market value is difficult for us to find as it is seldom evident from the exterior. After you report this damage, an appraiser from our office will contact you to gather additional information and to inspect the property.

If your property has suffered serious damage from other sources (i.e..fire, wind, or hail), we would ask that you also call our office and report the damage so revised assessment can be made.

If all of the damage will be repaired prior to January 1st (the date the assessment is made) there is no need to contact our office.
