The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office will be accepting applications for the new Permit to Carry Weapons between 8:00 am and 4:15 pm Monday through Friday, except Holidays.
Applicants will need to bring the following items with them when they apply: Iowa photo ID, Military DD214 or NRA Approved Training Certificate and completed application form. The cost is $50.00 for a five (5) year permit. The application form is available at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center or online at IOWA APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO CARRY WEAPONS
